The GrubMarket CSA program gives our customers the opportunity to more directly support the livestock production and processing efforts of our Farm partners, helping us create a more affordable supply of meats that are raised locally, ethically, sustainably, and humanely. In return, CSA members receive regular deliveries of our products below full retail prices.
We make it easy to sign up for a CSA membership by offering a monthly auto-renewal subscription. We offer CSA memberships in a variety of package options (see below). CSA packages are differentiated by their size ("Rare" = Small, "Well Done" = Large) and mix of price points - we call them "steak", "roast & braise" and "ground". Each box has a guaranteed amount within each price point, coming from our variety of species of livestock: (including but not limited to) beef, pork, lamb, chicken, or duck.
The particular mix of cuts each month is based on seasonal availability; no CSA box will contain every type of species. At this time there are no add-ons or exemptions.
Each month CSA members have their boxes delivered directly to their door courtesy of GrubMarket. We are currently serving San Francisco, East Bay, North Bay, and South Bay locations. Simply select your closest location from our list of neighborhoods, and expect a heads up email on your delivery week with the delivery day.
Livestock production and the rebuilding of our local meat processing facilities are capital intensive. The year-round financial support from the CSA program provides GrubMarket and our Farm Partners the ability to confidently invest in our local, sustainable food system.
